Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in the Northwestern region, Seattle location. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing advanced techniques in various areas of construction trades, responding to emergency and non-emergency service jobs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Advanced Carpentry Techniques: Proficiency in light carpentry, framing, drywall, paint, trim, and all aspects of repair common with handyman work.
  • Prepare Work Areas: Set up staging areas, equipment, and content protection for efficient work activities.
  • Lead Subcontractors: Provide direction and guidance to subcontractors as needed.
  • Maintain Clean Work Areas: Securely store equipment and supplies when not in use, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
  • Interface with Customers: Relay information to Project Managers or Superintendents when necessary.
  • Complete Paperwork and Updates: Accurately complete paperwork, upload documents, and provide job updates into the database as required.
  • Punch List Items: Complete punch list items with attention to detail, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Maintain Equipment: Ensure equipment is clean and in working condition.
  • Company Vehicle Management: Ensure the company vehicle is fully stocked at all times and travel to a nearby home improvement store to purchase needed items.
  • Job Site Safety: Monitor the safety, security, and appearance of job sites.
  • Demolition and Clean-up: Assist with demolition and general clean-up as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 Years of Experience: In construction and/or restoration, with hands-on experience in drywall, paint, trim, and light carpentry.
  • High School Diploma or GED: Required for this position.
  • Understanding of Major Trades Processes: Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Accuracy and Thoroughness: Demonstrated through work quality and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to business needs and changing priorities.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Tool and Equipment Operation: Thorough understanding of the correct and safe operation of all related tools and equipment.
  • Computer Technology: Proficient use of computer technology is required.
  • Teamwork and Relationship Building: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Eligibility to Operate a Vehicle: Must be eligible to operate a vehicle per company policy.
