Job Summary

The Rent Recovery Specialist is responsible for managing past residents with outstanding balances, collecting delinquent payments, and negotiating account settlements. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage outstanding balances and collect delinquent payments from past residents
  • Negotiate account settlements and payment plans with past residents
  • Communicate with Community Directors and Operations Analysts to ensure timely collection of payments
  • Provide monthly collection reports to HMC Leadership
  • Collaborate with Operations Analyst to maximize revenue collection
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of previous work experience
  • Previous experience in Military Housing or Property Management preferred
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
