Key Responsibilities

  • Assist future residents in finding the perfect apartment to call home, providing a positive and genuine experience to all current and future residents.
  • Utilize strategic consultative selling skills to achieve 100% community occupancy.
  • Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and initiate appropriate courses of action.
  • Approve all residential lease contracts and vendor-related contracts.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote the community and its events.
  • Mediate and assess current and future resident feedback, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with resident retention activities and ensure work responsibilities are covered when absent.
  • Schedule and follow up on maintenance work orders, future move-ins, capital projects, and all aspects of the community.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of on-site experience as a Community Manager, preferably in a similar role.
  • Experience in accounting and property management software systems, with RealPage experience being a plus.
  • Ability to manage annual budgets alongside the Regional Property Manager.
  • Competence in Microsoft Suite and property management software, with a strong preference for proficiency.
  • Participation in training to comply with new or existing fair housing laws.
  • Presentation of self in a neat, clean, and professional manner at all times.
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed, in accordance with company expectations.
