Emergency Room Registered Nurses (ER RNs) play a critical role in delivering urgent and emergency care to patients facing life-threatening situations. These professionals thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced settings and must possess strong critical thinking skills to make swift decisions that prioritize patient safety and health. Key responsibilities of an ER RN include:
1. Evaluating patients' conditions through vital signs, medical history, and physical assessments
2. Crafting and executing personalized care plans, including medication administration and treatment protocols
3. Observing patients for any changes in their condition and responding appropriately
4. Collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to diagnose and manage patient care
5. Utilizing and monitoring medical devices, such as IV pumps and cardiac monitors
6. Maintaining accurate patient care records and ensuring effective communication among healthcare providers
7. Offering education and emotional support to patients and their families
For ER RNs, educational qualifications typically include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), along with a valid RN license in the state of practice. Many ER RNs also pursue certifications like Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) to further enhance their expertise in emergency care settings.
This position is a contracted travel role, not a full-time position.

TLC Nursing Job ID # The compensation package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
