Job Title: Guest Services Agent

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Services Agent to join our team at Highgate Hotels.

Job Summary:

The Guest Services Agent is responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience throughout their stay. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide warm and welcoming service to all guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments.
  • Process guest payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with room reservations, cancellations, and modifications, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and food and beverage, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to hotel standards and regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or customer service role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of hotel software systems.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
