Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse with Maxicare Select, Inc., you will be responsible for:

  • Visiting patients in their homes for one-on-one visits, including wound care, injections, and IV infusions
  • Completing initial and ongoing assessments to identify the physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs of home health patients
  • Assessing patients' conditions and charting observations, including vital signs and medication review
  • Administering medication as prescribed by the patient's physician
  • Educating patients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures
  • Providing effective communication to patients, family members, team members, and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's School of Nursing
  • Current state license as an RN
  • Proof of current CPR certification
  • Compassionate and friendly demeanor
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Current driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally
