Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Sago Palms Reentry Center in Pahokee, Florida. The successful candidate will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of the Director of Nursing and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to patient needs.
  • Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and Nursing Supervisor.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs.
  • Conduct health assessments, administer medications, and provide education to patients and families.
Qualifications
  • Florida RN license or ability to obtain license.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Corrections experience not required.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance, including a drug screen and criminal background check.
