The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial modeling, analysis, and budget management, with experience working with municipality budgets. They will be responsible for leading the development and preparation of the annual budget, evaluating departmental budget submissions, and preparing comprehensive budget documents and presentations.

The Finance Manager will also be responsible for monitoring budget execution, providing regular updates and analysis to the Finance Director, and managing financial aspects of finance programs within the organization. They will work closely with departments to gather project estimates, budget projections, and funding sources for projects.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution and proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and budget management. They will also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to analyze, interpret, and present financial data accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and preparation of the annual budget
  • Evaluate departmental budget submissions
  • Prepare comprehensive budget documents and presentations
  • Monitor budget execution and provide regular updates and analysis
  • Manage financial aspects of finance programs within the organization
  • Work with departments to gather project estimates, budget projections, and funding sources for projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and budget management
  • Experience working with municipality budgets
  • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques

Salary: $75,000.00 - $94,000.00 per year

Work Schedule: 5 days a week in office
