Field Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Equipment Operator to join our team at Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC. As a key member of our agronomy solutions team, you will be responsible for applying herbicides and pesticides to labeled crops, operating and maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Mix and apply pesticides, fertilizers, and chemicals according to established guidelines and regulations.
- Accurately record and maintain log books for applied acres and equipment maintenance.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration on application equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols to minimize exposure to hazardous materials.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain pesticide applicator licensure and stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership to support the success of our team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience operating large equipment and a Class A or B CDL is necessary.
- Must be at least 18 years old to operate Helena equipment and/or drive a company vehicle.
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
- Preferred qualifications include a Qualified Applicator Certificate (QAC) and experience in agricultural equipment operation.
As a Field Equipment Operator at Helena Agri-Enterprises, you will work in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment with moderate to loud noise levels. You will be required to work near moving equipment and mechanical parts, and may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, chemical and biological hazards, and electrical shock. You will also be required to lift or move up to 100 pounds regularly.
