Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Clinical Dietitian to join our team at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide patient-centered nutrition care based on evidence-based best practices. Your expertise will help ensure that our patients receive the highest quality care and achieve optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments to identify patients at risk of malnutrition
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans using the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' Nutrition Care Process
  • Provide education on therapeutic diets to patients and caregivers
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nutrition and dietetics or related field
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) status and/or successful completion of the national registration examination (RD) within 120 days of hire
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • One to three years of experience in an acute care setting
  • Licensed dietitian (LD) through the Medical Board of Ohio
