About This Opportunity

Frontline Wildfire Defense is seeking a highly organized and hands-on Field Technician to join our team. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for installing our Wildfire Defense Systems on residential customers' homes. This involves layout and assembly of pipework, installation of sprinklers and roof penetrations, and assembly and installation of equipment on various surfaces.

Responsibilities
  • Install Wildfire Defense Systems on residential customers' homes
  • Layout and assemble pipework
  • Install sprinklers and properly seal roof penetrations
  • Assemble and install equipment on stucco, concrete, roofing, siding, etc.
  • Wire system components (low voltage)
  • Occasionally perform trenching, concrete work, and traffic control
  • Handle project clean up on a daily basis
  • Maintain and organize inventory of vehicles and storage locations
  • Travel required up to 75% during the summer busy season with overnight stays required
Qualifications
  • Construction-related experience
  • Roof experience a plus
  • Ability to follow instructions, learn quickly, and know when to ask questions
  • Experience working outdoors under various weather conditions
  • Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance)
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Professional appearance and strong customer relation skills
  • Maintain a valid Driver's License
  • Willingness to travel/reliable transportation
  • Able to pass a background check
