Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Kansas City Peterbilt. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of heavy and medium-duty diesel engine and chassis repair.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance services (PM) and replacement and/or repair of all major and minor components found in today's equipment.
  • Work with a team of experienced technicians to diagnose and repair complex diesel engine and chassis issues.
  • Utilize computer software and technology to diagnose and repair diesel engines and chassis.
  • Perform repairs on a variety of heavy and medium-duty diesel engines and chassis.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and quality.
Requirements:
  • 3 years or more of experience as a Diesel Mechanic (preferred).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • CDL preferred.
