Program Therapist Job Description

Ridgeview Institute Smyrna is seeking a skilled Program Therapist to join our team in Smyrna, Georgia.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Program Therapist to provide social services functions to patients in our inpatient program. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field and at least two years of experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and identify psychosocial, educational, developmental, and behavioral functioning of patients and their families.
  • Develop and implement individual, family, and group therapy plans to achieve treatment goals.
  • Provide crisis intervention and short-term and long-term family therapy.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Represent the facility at legal hearings and submit paperwork for legal holds in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility.
  • CPR/First Aid and CPI Training.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime.
