Kitchen Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Maintenance Technician to join our team at Hollywood Casino St. Louis. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen facilities, including the maintenance and repair of equipment, tools, and associated systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on kitchen equipment, tools, and associated systems to ensure continuous and safe operation.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
- Submit requests for expenditures associated with repairs, upkeep, and improvement to the Manager of Facilities.
- Support exterior grounds activities, including snow removal, grass cutting, landscaping, and other exterior area needs.
- Assist with sanitation processes and procedures, including rodent and pest control.
- Perform painting, structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, wallpaper, and treatments, and furnishings of buildings.
- Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, and water distribution, including fire suppression and sewerage facilities.
- Ensure OSHA compliance at Hollywood Casino St. Louis and participate in safety compliance initiatives.
- Implement and monitor controls to ensure full compliance with federal, state, corporate, and property laws, policies, and mandates.
- Interact effectively and positively across departmental lines and work as a team player.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Six months related experience and/or training preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word).
- Ability to read and write in English and possess good verbal communication skills.
- Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, fractions, decimals, percentages, etc.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Valid driver's license for the state in which you reside.
- Ability to physically mobile with reasonable accommodations, including the ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas, including confined spaces.
