The Department of Family Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles invites applications for a full-time tenured faculty position at the Associate or Professor rank. We are seeking faculty researchers to join our dynamic, nationally-recognized research program focused on advancing and applying interdisciplinary knowledge in patient-centered care, family medicine, primary care and population health, community partnered and/or participatory research, preventive and/or addiction medicine and public health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and care for patients
  • Teach medical students, undergraduates, postdoctoral fellows, residents, and other research trainees
  • Mentor students and clinical trainees
Requirements:
  • Medical degree and/or PhD or equivalent degree in a relevant social science
  • Board certification for candidates with an MD (or equivalent)
  • Research training via fellowship, Master's, or PhD program for candidates with an MD (or equivalent)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Track record of serving as a PI on research teams
  • Track record of peer-reviewed publications
  • Track record of extramural grant funding (e.g. NIH or equivalent)
What We Offer:
