Job Title: CPSP Health Educator I

EL PROYECTO DEL BARRIO is seeking a highly motivated and experienced CPSP Health Educator I to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing ongoing prenatal and postpartum health education services to women and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work under the direct supervision of the Clinic Administrator to provide health education services on a one-on-one basis or in groups.
  • Facilitate access for women to existing medical and clinical services, as well as their children and families.
  • Participate in educational and awareness campaigns to develop collaborative support and referral for the Clinic.
  • Develop program reports, narrative activity descriptions, reviews, and other reports for evaluating and analyzing program activities.
  • Assist in writing proposals and generating quarterly reports to management and funding sources.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal communication, written, and public speaking skills.
  • Sensitivity and experience working with minority populations, with a focus on the Latino community.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) capabilities are a must.
  • A professional, pleasant, and effective representation of the Corporation.
  • Mature judgment, tact, discretion, and confidentiality are mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • H.S. Diploma and three (3) years of experience in community development work.
  • CPSP Certification.
