About the Role: Western Technologies, Inc. is a leading consulting firm in the southwestern United States, specializing in geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering, and construction materials engineering and testing. We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Materials Project Manager to join our team in Rancho Cucamonga.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working with project designers and clients to ensure compliance with client specifications. You will conduct routine inspections and testing of construction materials in the field, prepare detailed reports on observation activities, and review data for accuracy and completeness.

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project designers and clients to ensure compliance with client specifications.
  • Conduct routine inspections and testing of construction materials in the field.
  • Prepare detailed reports on observation activities.
  • Review data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Support proposal development and budgeting.
  • Manage project budgets and prepare invoicing.
  • Provide training and supervision to junior staff.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of construction materials testing and observation experience required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend plans and specifications required.
  • Experience with IBC Special Inspections preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 4-year Civil Engineering degree preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving history required.
