Golden Aluminum is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Fort Lupton, Colorado. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day and long-term maintenance of our complex foundry and mill equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, adjusting, and rebuilding of industrial production machinery and supporting equipment.
- Operate mobile equipment, such as forklifts, skid steer loaders, shop cranes, scissor lifts, and articulating man lifts, as required to perform maintenance duties.
- Interpret safety and work instructions, both verbal and written, to understand required specifications.
- Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
- Must possess a basic understanding and ability to troubleshoot general mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating assemblies, and pumps.
- Must have the ability to use precision measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
- Must have initiative, multitasking skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Basic computer skills are required.
