Industrial Electrician Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team at Golden Aluminum. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day and long-term maintenance of our complex foundry and mill equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment, including programmable controls, numerical controls, power supplies, drives, motors, gear boxes, bearings, gauges, and test equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, adjusting, and rebuilding industrial production machinery and supporting equipment.
  • Review and assist with the creation of the maintenance schedule, work instructions, work logs, and other company information.
  • Maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes.
  • Interpret safety and work instructions, both verbal and written, to understand required specifications.
  • Inspect machinery to maintain specified parameters.
  • Ability to climb in overhead structures, to work beneath machines, in close quarters, and hot areas performing analysis and repair work.
  • Operate mobile equipment, such as forklift, skid steer loader, shop crane, scissor lift, and articulating man lift, as required to perform maintenance duties.
  • Must be able to read and interpret mechanical and electric drawings and Blueprints.
  • Must possess a basic understanding and ability to troubleshoot general mechanical systems, such as Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Rotating Assemblies, and pumps.
Requirements:
  • Advanced mechanical and electrical knowledge, ability, and aptitude.
  • Ability to analyze and execute problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to work in a team setting as well as be a self-starter that can multitask.
  • Basic Computer Skills.
