The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in the Orthopedic Trauma PCU at Medical City Plano. This position requires a skilled nurse to coordinate, evaluate, and customize care to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes, ensuring seamless transitions for patients.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and leadership to drive improved patient outcomes and service excellence.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and training to enhance staff performance and engagement.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and resource allocation to optimize unit operations.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • 1+ years of applicable experience in a similar role.
  • Current licensure as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
