The Area Supervisor is a key member of the Store Leadership team, responsible for overseeing a specific area of the store and ensuring the overall success of the store. Key Responsibilities- Maintaining a Safe and Secure Environment: Ensure the safety and security of customers and associates, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Merchandising and Inventory: Ensure that merchandise is properly displayed and maintained, and that inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
- Loss Prevention: Identify and prevent loss through effective inventory management, cash handling, and security procedures.
- Front End Supervision: Supervise and train front-end associates, and ensure that all front-end procedures are followed.
- Fitting Rooms: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the fitting rooms, and ensure that all garment tags are audited and accounted for.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, associates, and management.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately count and manage inventory, and maintain accurate records.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
