Certified Phlebotomy Technician

As a Certified Phlebotomy Technician, you will be responsible for performing blood collection procedures and handling various specimens in accordance with established protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct blood draws and collect specimens while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
2. Accurately label and process specimens, including centrifugation and storage.
3. Maintain meticulous records of specimen handling and patient information.
4. Provide clear explanations of the venipuncture process to patients.
5. Adhere to all regulatory guidelines, including OSHA and DEP standards.
6. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills.
Qualifications:
- Valid Phlebotomy certification as required by state regulations.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a clinical or laboratory environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- High School Diploma or GED with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Compensation:
Hourly rate of $25.16
Duration:
Position projected for 4 to 6 months with potential for permanent placement.
