About the Role

This position is responsible for overseeing the design, production, testing, and delivery of customer orders, as well as developing products, product modifications, and product components for commercial sale.

The design process involves component selection, design components, weldments, and assemblies. As a core team member, the engineer will work closely with all other groups in the organization to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design machine components, develop new products, and modify existing ones to improve quality, performance, or reduce costs.
  • Project Management: Manage customer orders, create and update Bills of Materials, and collaborate with Operations and Service groups to ensure timely execution.
  • Priority Management: Handle multiple priorities and project schedules, typically spanning a few weeks to a month or two.
Requirements
  • Education: A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) degree is required.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in a related role, with a strong background in project management and machine design.
  • Skills: Experience with structural design, assemblies, subassemblies, weldments, and components is highly desired, as well as industrial automation knowledge.
