Service Areas: Providing care for a total care pediatric client.

Work Hours: 12-hour shifts available, 7 days a week - we will discuss hours with you and the family to accommodate your preferences.

As a nurse at Ambercare, your responsibilities will include:
  • Empowering patients to maintain their independence while receiving care in their homes.
  • Performing nursing procedures aligned with your experience and education, including tracheostomy care, colostomy care, enemas, douches, catheterizations, dressing changes, and phlebotomies.
  • Providing education to patients and families based on plans established by the RN.
  • Monitoring vital signs and documenting specific measurements and observations.
  • Tracking and recording intake and output, promptly reporting any significant changes.
  • Conducting routine supervisory visits to assess care plans and ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Collaborating with Case Managers and other care team members.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current licensure as a practical nurse.
  • A minimum of 2 years of practical nursing experience.
  • Ability to travel locally using your own vehicle, along with a valid driver's license and appropriate automobile insurance.
