Speech and Language Specialist

As a Speech-Language Pathologist at New Vista of the Bluegrass, Inc., you will be part of an interdisciplinary team responsible for supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify dysphagia management and communication needs.
- Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to develop and implement individualized plans.
- Provide training and support to new employees on dysphagia and communication practices.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A graduate degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorder program.
- Licensure by the Kentucky Board of Licensure and Certification for Speech-Language Pathology and American Speech Language Hearing Association for Certificate of Clinical Competence.
- Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
