Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Program Director at DelMonte Hotel Group. This role will oversee the coordination of onsite merchandise sales and direct the set-up of necessary equipment to service events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Event Managers and other support staff to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Develop and implement event operations policies and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Events to roll out new policies and training materials for new hires.
  • Train and onboard new hires on event operations policies and procedures.
  • Conduct monthly meetings with Event Managers across all partnerships to discuss best practices and address challenges.
  • Work closely with Program Teams to plan and execute product lines, including buying and logistics.
  • Reconcile event finances with the Finance team to ensure accurate accounting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met according to contract agreements.
  • Oversee the display of merchandise in sales locations, ensuring planograms, pricing, and templates are accurate.
  • Hire and manage extra support staff to maximize sales at events.
  • Implement security measures for sales locations during and after business hours.
  • Maintain inventory control measures and conduct physical inventories at event conclusion.
  • Account for product shrinkage and implement measures to prevent future losses.
  • Oversee the packing and transportation of merchandise and displays.
  • Collect and reconcile sales records, including POS and scanner data.
  • Balance and deposit funds collected at events.
Requirements
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of industry experience, with a focus on retail sales and cash management.
  • 3-5 years of personnel management experience.
