Job Summary

This is a full-time position that requires the individual to deliver high-quality patient care under the direct supervision of the Emergency Department RN. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emergency department services based on established standards, demonstrating competency in all procedures within scope of practice.
  • Work as a team member to assist with safe and efficient patient care by prioritizing treatment based on data collection and clinical presentation.
  • Document treatment/care administered in the medical record, ensuring complete, concise, and legible documentation.
  • Respond to emergency and disaster situations in a calm manner, and participate in Code Blue responses.
  • Maintain the availability of emergency equipment and organize inventory for patient records.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a Vocational or Technical School certification beyond high school, and have a minimum of one year related experience. A Paramedic State of Florida Certification, Basic Life Saving (BCLS) certification through the American Heart Association, and Advanced and Pediatric Life Saving (ACLS & PALS) certification are also required.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, 403(b) retirement program, tuition reimbursement/educational assistance, EAP, Flex Spending, Accident, Critical and Other Applicable Benefits.
