Position Overview:

The compensation for this role starts at $26.97/hour, with an additional $1.25/hour for shifts during the second or third periods.

Your Contribution in This Role
As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that products and processes adhere to relevant standards, regulations, and customer expectations. Your role will involve supporting production and contributing to ongoing improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and quality management systems. In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

Conduct inspections and release both in-process and final products using established testing protocols. Calibrate and operate sensitive measuring instruments. Record and communicate inspection findings effectively. Review quality documentation in accordance with standard requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To ensure your success in this position from the outset, 3M requires the following qualifications:

A High School Diploma/GED or higher (must be completed prior to starting). At least one (1) year of experience in production, manufacturing, or warehouse settings. Availability to work a fixed second (4pm-12am) or third shift (12am-8am), based on shift availability. Willingness to work weekends, overtime, and holidays as necessary.

Additional qualifications that may enhance your success in this role include:

An associate degree or higher (must be completed and verified prior to starting). Experience in a manufacturing environment. Background in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Statistical Process Control (SPC), or product inspection. Familiarity with Quality System Regulation (QSR) environments. Experience in a self-directed work environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Training and experience in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
