We are seeking a highly skilled Fiber Installation Specialist to join our team at Prince Telecom. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining fiber optic systems and telecommunications equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Install and repair fiber optic systems and telecommunications equipment in accordance with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Configure and test residential networking equipment, including ONTs, routers, and switches.
- Analyze and record test results to ensure compliance with prescribed parameters.
- Interface with customers to identify and resolve issues related to fiber optic systems and telecommunications equipment.
- Drive a company vehicle safely and efficiently between work sites and other locations.
- Maintain a clean and stocked vehicle with necessary equipment and supplies.
- Complete paperwork accurately and report work order status updates in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting and interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years driving experience.
- Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
- Experience working in tight spaces, such as crawl spaces or attics, and in inclement weather.
- Experience with small hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
- Ability to lift, climb, and carry ladders with a weight of up to 80lbs.
