Key Responsibilities

The Market Research Analyst will assist the Ditch Witch Division in evaluating market prospects and competing effectively in the industry through analytical leadership and strategic planning.


The Market Research Analyst I will engage in projects of limited complexity, supporting the identification of business opportunities by analyzing geographical market data, utilizing internal and external business relationships, and applying industry insights through CRM and BI tools. This role will involve close supervision.


The Market Research Analyst II will substantiate business opportunities by analyzing geographical market data, leveraging internal and external relationships, and applying industry knowledge through CRM and BI tools.

This team member will be tasked with opportunity analysis and presentation, strategy formulation, and the creation of standardized analytical processes and reports.

This position will also lead forecasting efforts by establishing and executing a vision for delivering information and analytics solutions to key stakeholders.

The Market Research Analyst III will work independently and collaboratively to substantiate business opportunities through geographical market data analysis, leveraging relationships, and applying industry knowledge through CRM and BI tools.

This team member will be responsible for opportunity analysis, strategy development, and the creation of standardized analytical processes and reports.

This position will also lead forecasting by establishing and executing a vision for delivering information and analytics solutions to key stakeholders.


What Will You Do?

To thrive and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:

  • Tracking business insights and opportunities, providing comprehensive analytical data discovery and validation.
  • Developing reports, related documents, and dashboards to support strategic initiatives.
  • Monitoring and enhancing the pipeline of primary and secondary research into CRM or other BI platforms.
  • Supporting intelligence distribution activities, including custom BI reports, presentations, and senior-level documentation.
  • Acting as a Business Intelligence resource responsible for report distribution.
  • Supporting short and long-term volume forecasting by product line.
  • Data preparation, reporting, analytics, and data exploration.
  • Delivering information and reporting to internal stakeholders.
  • Deciphering relationships and identifying high-level insights from geographical data and other research data to develop strategies supporting Sales, Marketing, and other key departments.
  • Participating actively in multi-department or company-wide BI initiatives aimed at achieving shared company objectives, including project ownership, documentation, testing, and implementation.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following minimum requirements:

Level I
- Bachelor of Science in accounting, finance, marketing, applied mathematics, or a related analytical discipline (10 years of experience without a degree)
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Intermediate to advanced MS-Office skills; Power BI desktop experience preferred.

Level II
- Bachelor of Science in accounting, finance, marketing, applied mathematics, or a related analytical discipline
- 2-5 years of relevant professional experience
- Intermediate to advanced MS-Office skills; Power BI desktop experience preferred.
- Ability to set and achieve analytical and project objectives with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and motivation.

Level III
- Bachelor of Science in accounting, finance, marketing, applied mathematics, or a related analytical discipline; Master's degree is a plus.
- 5 or more years of professional experience
- Advanced MS-Office and Power BI skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across all organizational levels and functional areas.
