Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to join our team as a Supply Chain Analyst. This role will be responsible for identifying parts according to lifecycle management and contributing to the engineering change order process.
Key Responsibilities- Identify obsolete or items that will become obsolete and reconcile dispositions
- Analyze inventory to flag obsolete parts, ensure efficient parts distribution, and identify critical spare parts
- Communicate with surplus buyers regarding bids, payment, and shipments
- Initiate CRDs for parts obsolescence
- Provide reports around equipment, parts orders, shipments, discrepancies, etc.
- Communicate with other teams, schedulers, controllers, etc. to ensure needed information is provided for discussion or decisions regarding inventory
- Work with others to support capacity planning, demand forecasting, and supply planning
- Support Operations with reporting & analytical projects as requested
- Develop and maintain Plan for Every Part and Clear to Build tools
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or Business
- In lieu of degree, five plus years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or production planning environments
- Competent computer skills, including Excel and Word
- ERP systems experience required, SAP preferred
