  • Collaborate with a diverse engineering team focused on enhancing instrumentation and control systems within nuclear power facilities. These initiatives integrate electrical and mechanical engineering principles alongside control theory.
  • Engage with advanced electronic sensors, digital control units, interactive displays, and various mechanical components to optimize the performance of nuclear energy systems.
  • Develop detailed specifications for the acquisition of instrumentation and control apparatus, along with performing engineering calculations related to plant enhancements and modifications.
  • Benefit from mentoring, structured technical training sessions, and practical experience to deepen your knowledge and skills in your engineering field.
  • Explore opportunities for travel to client and vendor locations for design evaluations and to plant sites for project oversight and verification of engineering designs.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution, with a solid academic foundation and coursework in both analog and digital control systems is essential.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in design engineering specifically related to power plant control systems is required.
  • Coursework in mechatronics is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
