At PSN Affiliates, we are seeking a skilled Anesthesia Technician to support our team in Austin. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical center.
Responsibilities:
* Assist anesthesia care providers with equipment, supplies, and special procedures
* Perform pre-admission responsibilities, including completing orientation and following safety protocols
* Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, quality improvement, safety, environmental, and infection control standards
* Cooperate with other personnel to achieve departmental and interdepartmental objectives
* Stock and maintain specialized carts, inventory anesthesia supplies, and ensure proper care and storage of equipment
Requirements:
* Graduation from high school or possession of a GED Certificate
* Two years of experience assisting in patient care with a focus in preoperative services
* Anesthesia Tech certification preferred
* BLS/CPR (AHA)
