Job Summary

The Dental Hygienist is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality oral hygiene services to our patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with our dental team to deliver exceptional patient care and promote overall health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical oral hygiene procedures, including assessments, screenings, and treatments, as delegated by a dentist.
  • Document patient information and service in our dental practice management system.
  • Provide patient education on good oral hygiene practices, including nutrition and oral health.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Collaborate with our dental team to maintain and update provider schedules as needed.
Requirements
  • Diploma from an accredited dental hygienist program.
  • Active DC Dental Hygienist license and Local Anesthesia Certification.
  • 2 years of experience in a dental office practice preferred.
  • CPR certification.
  • Ability to work in a non-profit environment and commitment to serving under-resourced populations.
