We are currently seeking a Marine Systems Safety Specialist to become a vital member of our team. This role involves collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance safety protocols within naval operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough safety assessments and evaluations.
- Review and analyze system safety documentation.
- Audit qualification packages for program-level safety compliance.
Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge in marine system safety and have a background in naval operations. Experience with Department of Defense safety protocols is highly desirable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in marine system safety.
- Proven track record in developing safety engineering policies and procedures.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Clearance Requirement:
Candidate must hold a SECRET clearance.
Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with the Navy's Electronic Hazard Assessment Report (eHAR) database.
- Knowledge of NAVSEA operations and experience in managing INSURV processes.
