Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician III to join our team at GK Management Co., Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall appearance and maintenance needs of our multifamily properties are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager in daily activities, including curb appeal, make-readies, and move-in/move-out schedules.
  • Perform general maintenance repairs and conduct preventative maintenance to ensure the property's systems and equipment are functioning properly.
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager to ensure timely and effective completion of all repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Manage open service requests through our work order management system and ensure all work is completed within the designated timeframe.
  • Communicate effectively with the Maintenance Manager and other team members to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and attractive environment around the leasing office, clubhouse, pool, laundry rooms, mailrooms, and all common areas.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as safety and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field, preferably in multifamily property management.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, vendors, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge and experience with work order management software.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations and ability to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Physical Requirements

This role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing, as well as lifting and moving items over 60 pounds with assistance.
