Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts one-on-one training of Marketing Coordinators to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Provides performance and evaluation feedback to the Field Manager to ensure continued improvement of Marketing Coordinator staff.
  • Assists in scheduling shifts daily and weekly and in filling shifts as needed to ensure optimal staffing levels.
  • Indirectly manages Marketing Coordinator personnel by assisting the Field Manager in this area and providing integral information necessary for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Marketing Coordinator personnel.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, training team members, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, and recommending the rewarding and disciplining of team members.

Requirements:

  • Associate of Arts degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or university, or equivalent of one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports and documents, and to discern problem areas in the pitches of Marketing Coordinator personnel and redirect them to a more successful approach in speaking with the public.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or Marketing Coordinator personnel, including explaining compensation calculations, gifting costs, etc.
  • Ability to effectively present information to Training Manager, groups of trainees, and potential recruits, and to discern those qualities that would contribute to a successful recruit during the interview process.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing circumstances. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to multitask, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
