Medical Assistant

Kaua'i Medical Clinic is a leading healthcare provider on the island, offering a wide range of medical services. As a Medical Assistant in our Health Advantage department, you will be part of a dedicated team of physicians and medical staff who provide high-quality care to patients and their families.
In this role, you will perform a variety of patient care activities, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with medical procedures. You will also provide administrative support to the healthcare team, including scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care activities, including taking vital signs and preparing patients for exams
- Assist with medical procedures and provide administrative support to the healthcare team
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate records
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program and/or equivalent experience
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with a recognized certification agency
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card
- One year of back office medical assistant experience in an outpatient clinic, physician's office, or related experience
