Position Overview
The Department of Sociology at The University of Texas at Austin is establishing a candidate pool for potential temporary or adjunct faculty roles aimed at delivering undergraduate and/or graduate coursework.

Availability
These positions are not guaranteed each semester and are subject to student enrollment levels and funding availability. Appointments are typically arranged on a semester basis, although there may be opportunities for yearlong contracts. Renewals of these positions are contingent upon funding and performance evaluations.

Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Sociology is highly preferred. Candidates must possess prior experience in teaching at the college level.
