Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including 10-Ks and 10-Qs, Earnings Press Releases, and other financial statements.
  • SEC Reporting: Coordinate and manage the Company's SEC reporting, including preparation of financial statements and other required documents.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to management on financial matters.
  • Technical Accounting: Provide technical accounting guidance and support to the accounting team.
  • Consolidations: Assist with the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
  • Financial Statement Consolidation: Consolidate financial statements from various entities.
  • Intercompany Eliminations: Eliminate intercompany transactions from financial statements.
  • Foreign Currency Exchange Rates & Translation: Manage foreign currency exchange rates and translate financial statements.
  • Footnotes and MD&A Comments: Prepare footnotes and MD&A comments for financial statements.
  • Technical GAAP Research: Conduct technical research on GAAP and provide guidance to the accounting team.
  • Derivative Accounting: Manage derivative accounting and related financial reporting.
  • Investment Accounting: Manage investment accounting and related financial reporting.
  • Pension and Stock Related Accounting: Manage pension and stock related accounting and financial reporting.
  • Cash Flow Statements: Prepare cash flow statements.
  • Internal Financial Reporting: Provide internal financial reporting and analysis.
  • Coordination of External Audit: Coordinate with external auditors and provide support as needed.
  • Sarbanes Oxley Documentation: Manage Sarbanes Oxley documentation and related financial reporting.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of directly related experience: SEC experience and CPA license from a large, national CPA firm.
  • CPA from public accounting: Required for consideration.
  • High-level exposure: Will have high-level exposure and work closely with the senior executive team.
  • Compensation range: Open depending on experience, bonus, and great benefits.
