Job Summary

This Assembly Production Specialist role is located at our Franklin location and offers a competitive salary of $43,000 per year. Working hours are from 6:45 am to 3:00 pm, with overtime on Friday nights (usually every other week, with advance notice).

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as an Assembly Production Specialist. In this role, you will serve as a machine helper responsible for loading cheese rolls onto the table, rolling fruit onto the cheese, and sending it through the machine for packaging. You will also ensure that the cheese is correctly placed in the film packaging and loaded into a box. Once the box is filled, you will lift it onto a pallet. This position specifically supports our goat cheese lines.

Responsibilities
  • Loading cheese rolls onto the table and rolling fruit onto the cheese.
  • Sending the prepared cheese through the machine for packaging.
  • Ensuring cheese is properly placed in the film packaging.
  • Loading packaged cheese into boxes.
  • Lifting filled boxes onto pallets.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of consistent work history in packaging or warehouse roles involving moving packages or loading/unloading boxes.
  • Experience with repetitive, labor-intensive tasks.

Work Environment

The position is located at our Franklin location. The environment is maintained at 55 degrees, which is not excessively cold. The dress code requires closed-toe shoes, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and pants. All PPE and uniforms, including hair nets, beard nets, shoe covers, smocks, bump caps, and gloves, are supplied. Jewelry, fake/long nails, and fake eyelashes are not permitted.
