Preparation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Preparation Specialist to join our team at Amphenol CMT and CIT. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing structures for paint processes.
About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all prepping requirements are met, and finished work pieces conform to specifications.
Main Responsibilities- Prepping Structures: Perform basic level of work in prepping structures for paint processes.
- Inspecting Work Pieces: Inspect parts/structures after paint to ensure they meet all quality standards.
- Maintaining a Clean Environment: Maintain a clean, organized work environment and adhere to all safety standards, procedures, and regulations.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: One (1) year of manufacturing experience, or automotive/aircraft refinishing experience a plus.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Lean Manufacturing Experience: Understanding and experience in Lean manufacturing environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Estimated Salary Range:$40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
