Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead our integrated operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategies that meet or exceed performance, cost, and schedule objectives. This role requires a strong leader who can oversee and manage all operational aspects of a manufacturing and/or production location, ensuring employee safety, continuous improvement, and delivering quality products on time and within customer cost targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans and objectives for the manufacturing operations, in line with the overall company vision and goals.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of all manufacturing facility activities, ensuring efficient and effective production processes.
  • Foster a strong safety culture through effective communication and clear expectations.
  • Lead and motivate a team of manufacturing managers and supervisors, instilling trust, providing guidance and support, to ensure all teams are high performing and effective.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and other departments/branches within the company.
  • Instill a culture of continuous improvement, implementing lean manufacturing principles and processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Monitor and analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • BS or BA in Operations Management or Operations Manufacturing or Engineering, or Industrial Engineering with 3 years of experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • Required- 5 years in manufacturing/fabrication environment.
  • Required- 5 years managing a staff of 50+.
  • Required- 3 years utilizing Lean manufacturing tools.
  • Preferred- SAP, or similar ERP system experience.
  • Preferred- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
