Xperience Restaurant Group, a renowned hospitality leader, seeks an experienced Food Preparation Specialist to join our team. As a vital member of our kitchen crew, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.


About the Role:


We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Food Preparation Specialist to prepare a variety of dishes, from appetizers to main courses. The ideal candidate will possess excellent knife skills, knowledge of food safety and handling procedures, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:



  • Preparation of ingredients, sauces, and menu items: Prepare all hot and cold restaurant foods, including prep sheets, according to established standards and recipes.
  • Kitchen operations: Set up, operate, and clean all kitchen machinery/equipment, ensuring they are stored in their proper place after use.
  • Maintenance of kitchen standards: Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and handling of equipment, using only as intended and following proper training.
  • Efficient resource management: Efficiently work with materials and/or resources, minimizing costs and expenses while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Collaboration and communication: Communicate effectively with management, chefs, and service staff to fulfill guest requests and address any issues or needs.

Requirements and Qualifications:



  • Education and experience: High school diploma preferred; minimum one (1) year related experience in a full-service kitchen environment.
  • Skills and certifications: Advanced knife skills, proper food storage knowledge, lifting techniques, guest relations, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Physical demands: Ability to walk long periods, stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
