About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales team in Massachusetts, focusing on the Metro Boston area. To succeed in this role, you should have a proven track record in sales management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity. You should also be well-versed in the scientific and laboratory products market.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, hire, and train new sales team members to sustain regional growth.
- Develop and review long- and short-term sales goals with your team.
- Lead and motivate a high-performance sales team to achieve sales targets.
- Travel with direct reports to assess capabilities, mentor, and provide hands-on sales training.
- Establish and communicate specific goals and expectations to team members.
- Bachelor's degree in science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager, or a similar senior sales role in the New England area.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, specifically with scientific or laboratory products.
- Proficient in using sales tracking software.
- Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).
