Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer III to join our team at MAPFRE Insurance. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom software applications and updating existing software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop custom software applications and update existing software products
  • Develop new ideas and initiatives that improve the performance of the organization
  • Communicate complex data and results in a simple, actionable manner to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Analyze experiences, developments, and market trends related to the role of information technology (IT)
  • Monitor, measure, and optimize the individual and combined use of hardware, software, and telecommunications components
  • Solve problems with installed software products using strategies, practices, and tools
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • 7 years of professional experience in relevant programming languages, including Java, cloud native (AWS), microservices, and JavaScript
