About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Monitoring SRE to join our team at Apple. As a key member of our Cloud Monitoring organization, you will be responsible for designing and building the next generation of cloud and systems monitoring infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and highly available monitoring systems
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve operational issues
  • Develop and maintain monitoring tools and scripts
  • Work closely with the development teams to deliver high-quality results
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 system availability
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 2+ years of industry experience in cloud computing and monitoring
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and monitoring tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience with Python, bash scripting, and other programming languages
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and other monitoring tools
  • Knowledge of container orchestration with Kubernetes
  • Experience with automation and scripting
  • Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance
