Position Overview

The IT Operations Manager is a pivotal role within MTA, Inc., responsible for overseeing the comprehensive management of information technology systems and communications across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and supervision of all IT-related projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure the effective operation of complex software systems, including systems analysis and database management.
  • Participate in the development of contingency plans and oversee the security protocols related to surveillance systems.
  • Act as the primary liaison with technology vendors to procure and implement new systems.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks and troubleshoot IT-related issues to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with MTA IT to strategize and implement technology solutions that enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Computer Science, along with a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience, including at least three years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.


Preferred Skills
  • Experience as a Network or Server Administrator with a focus on cybersecurity.
  • Familiarity with proprietary security systems and various networking protocols.
  • Proficient in managing Fiber Optic Data Communication Networks and related technologies.
  • Ability to provide technical support for a range of hardware and software applications.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining database systems.
