As a Clinical Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing daily staffing assignments and levels within the therapy department. Your leadership will guide the team in delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise daily staffing assignments.
- Provide direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and manage disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Assess and ensure the quality of services provided to patients.
- Facilitate staff development programs to enhance team skills.
- Ensure compliance with departmental and organizational policies and procedures.
- Step in to perform staff responsibilities as needed to maintain service levels.
- Lead the resolution of complex issues and patient complaints.
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy.
Skills:
- Strong critical thinking abilities and decisive judgment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Capability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and take appropriate actions.
Certifications:
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Licenses:
- Valid license in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy in the State of North Carolina.
Experience:
- A minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience.
- At least two (2) years of supervisory experience is required.
