Job Opportunity: Medical Professional - Labor & Delivery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Professional to join our team as a Labor & Delivery Specialist at an esteemed Level IV Trauma Center.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced RN to work in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with a talented team of healthcare professionals. As a Labor & Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, adhering to hospital protocols, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing labor and delivery
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to hospital standards
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher
  • Valid AK license and current certifications (BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery setting
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
